The following challenges await you:

  • Support manufacturing operators team with process variability, trend analysis, deviation authoring and training, and internal nonconformance investigations as needed
  • Initiate and drive process improvements based on engineering and production priorities in the areas of yield, quality, and cost, using appropriate methodology such as Six Sigma DMAIC, Design of Experiments (DOE), lean (waste elimination, time studies, line balancing), and Hypothesis testing
  • Provide education, instruction, and training to technicians and operators on new and revised processes
  • Responsible for manufacturing technical support during confirmation, validation, and post-production builds as needed for project/processes
  • Participate in engineering led teams focused on developing new products and processes with specific emphasis on design for manufacturability.  Assist in new equipment identification, procurement, installation qualification, document creation, and training
  • Ensure technical accomplishments and other testing are fully documented for reference and traceable through company systems.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Biomedical) preferred
  • Basic SolidWorks CAD/CAM training desired or equivalent job experience
  • Understanding of manufacturing equipment or assembly processes desired
  • Ability to create and read engineering drawings and assist in process and product development
  • Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English. Must be able to clearly articulate and listen attentively to questions, concerns and feedback from coworkers and customers
