The Following Challenges Await You:

  • Support manufacturing operators team with process variability, trend analysis, deviation authoring and training, and internal nonconformance investigations as needed.
  • Initiate and drive process improvements based on engineering and production priorities in the areas of yield, quality, and cost, using appropriate methodology such as Six Sigma DMAIC, Design of Experiments (DOE), lean (waste elimination, time studies, line balancing), and Hypothesis testing.
  • Provide education, instruction, and training to technicians and operators on new and revised processes.
  • Responsible for manufacturing technical support during confirmation, validation, and post-production builds as needed for project / process changes.
  • Participate or lead in engineering led teams focused on developing new products and processes with specific emphasis on design for manufacturability.
  • Assist in new equipment identification, procurement, installation qualification, document creation, and training.
  • Ensure technical accomplishments and other testing are fully documented for reference and traceable through company systems.


Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field required with 5 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Basic SolidWorks CAD/CAM training desired or equivalent job experience.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively across various cross-functional areas.
  • Advanced understanding of manufacturing equipment and process characterization. Knowledgeable of formal process improvement tools such as Six Sigma DMAIC, lean, DOE, and capability analysis.
  • Capable of effectively improving processes with minimal direction and information.
  • Ability to create and read engineering drawings and assist in process and product development.
  • Demonstrate high level of initiative, critical thinking and creativity.
  • Experience with medical products and/or product assembly a plus.
