What you'll get to do every day:
- Supporting the optimization of process flows, line layouts, staffing, and work station design to improve product scalability and accommodate changes in product volume.
- Driving process improvements on new and existing products to improve capability, repeatability, quality, and cost using LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Conducting cost/benefit analysis for changes to processes and/or equipment as part of the identification, evaluation, and prioritization support of operational improvement opportunities.
- Reviewing and supporting the Medevio CAPTURE program to evaluate, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement opportunities identified by various individuals from all cross-functional groups across the facility.
- We have openings within Manufacturing, Continous Improvement and Quality engineering co-ops.
What we're looking for in you:
- Students must be enrolled in a Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering program
- Must be willing and able to work on-site (some remote work may be possible)
- Must be willing and able to work full-time during co-op duration
- Strong analytical skills & mechanical aptitude
- Driven to learn about real-world application of academic engineering concepts
