<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Your Role and Responsibilities

  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Support business line and project engineering with accurate communication and representation of HMC’s capabilities.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Ensure that proper technology processes are developed, implemented, maintained and documented to successfully introduce new products into manufacturing.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Involved in prototyping, process development, confirmation runs, and validation.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Assume responsibility for completeness and accuracy of developed processes (i.e., lead, manage, communicate, complete documentation, train) including ownership of process capability, process quality, and process costs.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Assist in new equipment identification, procurement, installation qualification, document creation, and training.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Identify new technologies in accordance with site and customer priorities to improve efficiency, quality, reduce costs, and meet market technology needs.

    <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">What is required for this role
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Education and/or Experience<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">:  BS (+2 years of experience) in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering preferred; Medical device experience highly desired
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Communication Skills<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">:  Must be able to create legible, accurate, and detailed documents that clearly communicate product and manufacturing expectations.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Technical Knowledge<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">:  Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment and computer programming. 
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Critical Thinking/Analytical Skills<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">:  Ability to effectively improve processes with minimal direction and information.  Understand human and cultural differences and provide resolution strategies without becoming emotionally involved.    Demonstrate high level of initiative and creativity.
