Your Role & Responsibilities

• Leads team in the achievement of organizational and quality objectives and goals.
• Constantly assesses the team's skills and trains where necessary to maintain the highest level of quality engineering excellence.
• Provides significant guidance regarding technical strategies and approaches; works cross-functionally in identifying and resolving technical issues. Performs quality engineering duties, as needed.
• Ensures support for the nonconforming material and product processes which includes but is not limited to disposition, investigation, CAPA/corrections and customer communication. Is very fluent, effective, and comfortable with participating and leading customer interaction in diverse activities.
• Promotes continuous improvement through identifying and implementing improvements to manufacturing processes, inspection methods, and quality systems.
• Effectively interacts with the development team to support transfer of product from development to production.
• Supports and/or leads review of process changes and customer approval requirements.

What is Required for this Role:

• BS/BA degree in Engineering or other technical discipline preferred and a minimum of 2 years equivalent work experience in a supervisory or management role and/or 7+ years in QE/QE supervisor role required

• Experience with ISO 13485 and/or  21 CFR 820 standards and regulations. 
• Demonstrated experience with statistical analysis. root cause analysis, FMEA, project management, SPC, Six Sigma Tools and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
•  Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, mentoring, coaching, and strong problem solving skills required.    
•  ASQ certified QE/CMQ a preferred; Green Belt or greater and Lean certification desired.
