The following challenges await you

•    Works effectively with engineers and operators to resolve day-to-day issues.  Interacts with Manufacturing to resolve product quality issues.
•    Interprets and understands customer and internal drawings and specifications.  Inspects received materials in accordance with purchase order and specifications.
•    Performs complex visual and dimensional inspection of various parts, sub assemblies, and finished goods to ensure compliance with drawing specifications.  

     Performs first article, and final pre-ship verification.
•    Manage and completes dimensional inspection for gage R&R and process capability studies.
•    Makes decisions as to the acceptable quality; determine reasons for rejection; complete required quality records.  
•    Identifies, reports and documents all discrepancies, and potential problems.  Participates in root cause analysis.  Assists QE in non-conforming material/part  transactions,

      management and tracking of nonconformances.

Your Profile:

  •  High school diploma, 3 - 5 years quality inspection experience required.  Relevant work experience may satisfy requirement. 2 year associate or technical degree or CQT/CMI certification a plus.
  • Proficient with use of precision tools such as calipers, gauges, microscopes, comparator, laser micrometer and video inspection equipment.    
  • Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and Statistical techniques.  Proficient using Microsoft Office and calculators.
  • Experience with ISO 13485 and/or 9001 standards.
  • Train the Trainer experience a plus.
