The Following Challenges Await You:

•    Work effectively with engineers and operators to resolve day-to-day issues.  Interact with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to resolve product quality issues.
•    Support investigation and root cause analysis for customer complaints, internal and supplier nonconformances.  Assist Quality Engineering in non-conforming material/part  transactions, management and tracking of nonconformances.
•    Manage and complete dimensional inspection and data analysis for gage R&R and process capability studies.
•    Support quality system processes such as calibration, document control and supplier controls.
•    Develop, test and release inspection equipment programs.  Manage changes to inspection equipment programs.
•    Work with Quality Engineering to create and/or review product and material inspection plans.
•    Support continuous improvement projects as applicable.

 

Your Profile:

•    High school diploma, minimum of five years quality experience required.  Relevant work experience may satisfy requirement. 2 year associate or technical degree or CQT/CMI certification a plus.
•    Experience with ISO 13485 and/or 9001 standards

•    Proficient with use of precision tools such as calipers, gauges, microscopes, comparator, laser micrometer and video inspection equipment.    
•    Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and Statistical techniques.  
•    Experience in computer programming, programming of off the shelf metrology software and custom software preferred.
•    Proficient using Microsoft Office and calculators.
