The Following Challenges Await You:

  • Works effectively with engineers and operators to resolve quality issues related to supplier and purchased materials.   

  • Supports internal and external supplier nonconformance root cause analysis, action plan definition and follow up. 

  • Supports in material dispositions such as sorting, reworks, scrapping as determined by SQE. 

  • Works with SQE in material qualification process including activities such as first articles, Gage R&R studies, correlation studies and statistical data analysis.   

  • Interprets and understands customer and internal drawings and specifications.   

  • Inspects received materials in accordance with purchase order and specifications. 

  • Provides input into purchased material inspection plans and methods.  Completes inspection plan setup and updates in SAP.   

  • Assists receiving inspection in troubleshooting inspection plan issues. 

  • Ensures quality documentation is completed following Good Documentation Practices. 

  • Supports Supplier Quality projects and continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Keeps area key indicators up to date and support with data preparation.  

  • Participates and/or assists with training activities, if required. 

  • ASL maintenance as required by SQEs, specifically with ISO certificates updates and supporting supplier desktop audits. 


Your Profile:

  • HS Diploma. Trade school or Associates Degree in Quality or technical field is a plus 

  • 2+ years quality technician experience in a job shop manufacturing environment.

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office and calculators.

  • Knowledge with ISO 13485 and/or 9001 standards.

  • Train the Trainer experience a plus.   

  • Comfortable working in a self-directed team environment and giving or asking for instructions.    

  • Will embrace high quality standards for optimal work output and take pride in product.  Will demonstrate an understanding of the medical industry and how our products apply for importance to achieve specific tolerances.
