Revalyu (US) LLC will construct a manufacturing facility in Statesboro, Georgia, to convert recycled PET bottle flakes into rPET pellets using a breakthrough chemical recycling process. Our customers can directly replace their conventional PET material with sustainably produced, recycled PET for their production of fibers, textiles, carpet, food packaging, and even new drink bottles. We are in the early stages of the project and hiring staff for key positions that will lead the construction project and later the manufacturing operations.

Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and making decisions based on the company’s financial stability. The duties include developing the best practices for company finances and coming up with strategic plans to improve the company’s overall financial health. The CFO will interact frequently with the International Leadership of the parent company. The CFO will oversee Human Resources, Employee Benefits, and Payroll providing policies and resources that attract and retain a talented work force.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS DURING THE US-ONE PROJECT

Works with the General Manager, Purchasing Manager, and Accounting Consultant to develop temporary purchasing and accounting systems for ordering equipment, materials, and services for construction of the US One project.

Works with the International Leadership and Accounting Consultant to provide general business accounting including processing of payables, processing of receivables, cash management, account transfers, bookkeeping, and monthly financial statements.

Works with the Accounting Consultant to manage Sales and Use Tax notifications and charges to maximize project savings associated with State economic development incentives. Works with the Technical Manager and Purchasing Manager to develop the company’s fixed asset list from the equipment purchases assigning the appropriate fixed asset classification to the equipment.

Works with the General Manager to hire and build the HR Department along with developing the employee benefits program, payroll systems, corporate policies, and hiring strategy.

Investigates and recommends ERP solutions for the future manufacturing operations.
POST PROJECT MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

Executes the company’s financial strategy, develops financial plans and budgets and prepare reports on business performance versus Targets and KPIs

Overseas general business accounting including processing of payables, processing of receivables, cash management, account transfers, bookkeeping, and monthly financial statements.

Overseas financial audits, property tax, income tax, and sales tax reporting and filing.

Overseas HR, Corporate Policies, Payroll, and Employee Benefits including unemployment tax filing, insurance policies and claims, contract administration.
What we're looking for in a Controller role:

A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required.

Must be a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Georgia.

5 years’ experience working in accounting for a manufacturing operation.

10 years’ experience working in general business accounting or financial auditing.

5 years’ experience working with HR, payroll, and employee benefits administration is preferred.

Highly competent with ERP systems and Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Results oriented and confident, but a team player who desires collaboration.

Good at setting priorities while taking into account the short and long-term needs of the business.

Leadership skills with the ability to delegate, motivate, and inspire team members.
