Human Resource Administrative Assistant
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the smooth & efficient operation of the Human Resource Administration in full compliance with all regulations required by the State of TN and the Federal Government. Requires understanding of Heraeus hiring processes and Benefit programs and be able to communicate as needed.


Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Performs all basic administrative Human Resource tasks. 
  • Assist managers with event planning, ordering meals, coordinating vendors, and setting up when needed
  • Provides administrative support to supervisors/managers as needed
  • Identify, schedule and/or register for Job Fairs (in-house and external) to establish company presence in the local community 
  • Review resumes, screen applicants, and schedule interviews
  • Responsible for all aspects of the new hire orientation process which includes coordinating and conducting new hire orientations, creating personnel files, assigning lockers, etc. 
  • Assists Operations with annual inventory as needed
  • Receives and distributes incoming mail and facsimiles, paychecks, processes outgoing mail including assisting with FedEx shipments when needed

What is required for this role:

  • Associates in Business Administration is preferred
  • Must be adaptable to any situation
  • Must be willing to help others with a "Can Do" additude
  • Must have Microsoft knowledge and experience (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Must be task oreintented with a strong attention to detail
  • Professional and friendly additude in person and on the phone
  • Must have a Strong sense of urgency and now how to prioitise tasks
  • Firm commitment to the HPM Guiding Principles of accountability, customer focus, continuous improvement, clear language, diversity, responsibility, and respect
