Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

The primary responsibility of this position is to plan and the coordination of receiving customer material and preparing outbound shipments, in conjunction with the Logistics Supervisor, in order to meet the needs of the customer and the shipping/receiving

department. 

 

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Identify all material received and assign to relevant Customer order number.
  • Ability to recognize & respond to breached containers.
  • Record incoming shipment data as specified in the procedures.
  • Maintain lot integrity as requested by customer.
  • Perform an array of functions that may include picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. 
  • Loading and unloading finished goods and raw materials in a safe, timely manner.
  • Prepare outbound shipment documentation as specified in the procedures
  • Reviewing & recording of orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete

 

What is required for this role:

  • Firm commitment to the HPM Guiding Principles of accountability, customer focus, continuous improvement, clear language, diversity, responsibility and respect
  • Physical ablity to lift up to 100lbs repetitively throughout the day is required
  • Well-organized and self-directed 
  • CDL License is preferred 
  • Previous fork-life expereince is required 
  • Basic math skills
  • Computer-literate
  • Basic data entry skills required
