Maintenance Mechanic
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide maintenance to the plant building and equipment and to provide adequate preventative maintenance.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Examine machines for defects in operation, replace defective parts and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation.
- Provide electrical troubleshooting.
- Will be responsible for periodically driving fork truck.
- Must follow all company policies and procedures.
- Must report to work as scheduled.
- Adherence to Code of Conduct as applicable to job function: CoC Guideline No. 1: Guideline for the Procurement of Products and Services, No. 2: Guideline for the Prevention of Bribery in Commercial Transactions, No. 4: Guideline for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Participation in Criminal Acts.
- Responsibility to ensure that direct reports and overall employee population are also aware and adhere to Code of Conduct Guidelines.
What is required for this role:
- High school diploma is prefered
- 5 years' experience in the maintenance field is preferred
- Forklift experience preferred or the ability to gain a certification to opperate a forklift in the first 30 days of employment
- Basic understanding of small motors, electrical currents, hydrallics is required
- Basic math skills
- Computer-literate
- Visual and mechanical inspection skills
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
