The primary function of this role is to plan and the coordination of receiving customer material and preparing outbound shipments, in conjunction with the Logistics Supervisor, in order to meet the needs of the customer and the shipping/receiving department. Imagin

 

Your Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Identify all material received and assign to relevant Customer order number.
  • Ability to recognize & respond to breached containers.
  • Record incoming shipment data as specified in the procedures.
  • Maintain lot integrity as requested by customer.
  • Perform an array of functions that may include picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
  • Loading, transporting, delivering, and unloading finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plant in a safe, timely manner.
  • Prepare outbound shipment documentation as specified in the procedures
  • Assist in physical inventory checks and in trouble shooting inventory problems
  • Complete the daily calibration check record for all scales.
  • Inspecting vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report problems to maintenance personnel
  • Lend every assistance to assure optimal Customer satisfaction, by maintaining open and accurate communications with the Sales & Production team personnel.

What is required for this role:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years related experience is preferred.
  • Production experience is preferred.
  • Valid class A CDL along with HAZMAT endorsed, driver’s license.
  • Must be certified (DOT, IMDG, IATA)- On-site training & certification.
  • 40hr Hazwoper Certified- On-site Training & certification.
  • Must have a clean driving record and must pass a drug and alcohol test. 
  • The ability to obtain a Fork Truck License, Basic Hazardous Material Transportation Training, and Hazmat Response is preferred.
