Job Summary

Perform all production activities, including planning, monitoring and coordination of all equipment and materials in conjunction with the Shift Group Leader to best meet the needs of the production schedule for the Material Prep and Sampling department.


Your Role and Responsibilities:


  • Lend every assistance to assure the success of our sales network, by maintaining open and accurate communications with all Material Prep and Sampling Operators and the Shift Lead Person.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and professional work area and use equipment and materials properly.
  • Assist in the proper training of all operators and visiting operators assigned to the Prep and Sampling department. 
  • Encourage and follow all safety rules and regulations and report any potentially unsafe condition.
  • Responsible for the completion of all equipment monitoring logs to ensure compliance with all government and local requirements.
  • Accurately complete the processing plan for every material lot processed through the Prep and Sampling department.
  • Maintain an accurate update of the planned schedule of completion for each material lot scheduled for process on his/her shift.
  • Coordinates production with the Shift Lead Person regarding capacity and priority.
  • Work within our Quality Management system and looks for ways to improve and promote quality.
  • Assist in year-end physical inventory and in trouble shooting inventory problems.
  • Ability to arrive at work on time and complete assigned shift.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.


What is required for this role:

  • Previous Manufacturing and forklift experience
  • Ability to perform data entry task with little supervision
  • Good communication skills
