The primary responsibility of this position is to perform assigned fine sampling and in-process activities, according to Wartburg SOP and industry standards.To successfully work alongside production management, customer service and onsite customer representatives to produce quality results.

 

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive working relationship with key customer contacts to understand origin of material
  • Liaise and assist Customers by providing information and know-how needed to accurately complete material profile questionnaires and Safety Data Sheets
  • Provide in-depth technical knowledge and application support to the applicable Wartburg departments by:
  • Evaluating incoming material
  • Verifying correctness of labels on incoming material
  • Classifying incoming material for storage
  • Classify incoming material for processing
  • Determine processing recipes
  • Spot check / educate on PPE VS Material Labeling on shopfloor
  • Ensure EHS labeling requirements VS inhouse PPE matches
  • Classify outgoing material for shipment
  • SAP EHS Data + production data entry/checks
  • Liaise and assist the Sales department by evaluating feasibility of potential new material streams
  • Perform remote and on-site troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Assemble and lead project teams.
  • Other ad hoc tasks as assigned based on business needs.
  • Adherence to Code of Conduct as applicable to job function:  CoC Guideline No. 1:  Guideline for the Procurement of Products and Services, No. 2:  Guideline for the Prevention of Bribery in Commercial Transactions,  No. 4:  Guideline for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Participation in Criminal Acts.
