Your responsibilities
In this role, you would be responsible for:
- Execution of Health Economic activities in relation to arthroplasty and trauma procedures for key markets (global scope)
- Undertake data analysis in terms of cement use and performance from an Arthroplasty Registry / big data perspective
- Analysis of health economic and clinical research and identify linkages to evidence-based marketing
- Identify and execute new health economic and outcome research opportunities in alignment with overall Heraeus Medical strategy
- Support the development of future HEOR strategies in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Development and implementation of economic value propositions and health economic tools and models
- Support and/or execute training of marketing/sales teams in relation to HEOR to drive the technical understanding and awareness of HEOR across the organization
- Support HTA/reimbursement applications and market access activity as applicable
- Day-to-day activity and ad-hoc tasks as necessary
- Willingness to travel as necessary, including where applicable, representation of Heraeus Medical with external stakeholders/events
Your qualifications
- Degree in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Statistics or similar
- Experience in medical device industry an advantage, including working student or internship
- Knowledge of MS Office and at least one statistical program (e.g. R, SPSS, Stata)
- Ability to support business strategy and translate into concrete outcomes
- Knowledge of various health care systems, models and their reimbursement structure
- Ability to present complex information in a digestible, succinct manner and to generate solutions
- Strong data analysis, statistical and numerical ability
- Cooperative working style with multidisciplinary teams yet, independent and a self-starter
- Ability to prioritise activities and determine importance and make decisions
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in English – both written and spoken, and at least conversational German required. Any additional languages are an advantage.
