The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure conformance of materials and finished products to specifications.


The following challenges await you:

  • Inspect materials and products following standard operating procedures and refer any doubts to the Quality Manager.
  • Record appropriate quality and production information to verify that product meets requirements.
  • Do not pass product that does not meet requirements. Refer to the Quality Manager those problems that cannot be fixed in a normal amount of time or without additional resources.
  • Continuously improve all aspects of inspection, including but not limited to methods, tools, records, communication and teamwork. Present ideas for improvement to Quality Manager for approval.
  • Develop the following skills to the level approved by the Quality Manager:
  • Inspect incoming materials intended for production according to specification.
  • Inspect manufactured products to ensure that product meets all customer requirements as specified on drawings and other inspection criteria, e.g. dimensions, visual, stress, surface and interior defects
  • Interpret Heraeus inspection standards, manufacturing drawings and customer related inspection criteria.
  • Properly use required instruments, tools and equipment.
  • Maintain quality control documents, check sheets, reports and files.


Your Profile:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous relevant experience preferred
  • Keen eye for detail and visual ability to detect multiple inspection points
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism and leadership ability; exhibit a high level of motivation and initiative with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player
  • Proficient with standard Microsoft Office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
