The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure conformance of materials and finished products to specifications.


The following challenges await you:

  • Develop, implement, maintain a calibration and measurement system for all instruments, gauges, tooling, etc. that are used to measure part quality and/or as required.
  • Write programs for measurement and laser systems in order to aid in the inspecting process.
  • Inspect materials and products following standard operating procedures and refer any doubts to the Quality Manager.
  • Continuously improve all aspects of inspection, for example methods, tools, records, communication and teamwork.  Present ideas for improvement to the Quality Manager for approval.
  • Ability to back up the Quality Manager to produce Key Performance Indicators as well as provide test data to customers and other reports as needed.
  • Ability to review work instructions, procedures, forms and be able to develop where none exist.
  • Record appropriate quality and production information to verify that product meets requirements.
  • Do not pass product that does not meet requirements.  Refer to the Quality Manager those problems that cannot be fixed in a normal amount of time or without additional resources.


Your Profile:

  • High School Diploma required, Associates degree preferred in Quality or Business
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Quality Assurance
  • Thorough knowledge of ISO-9001 and related standards
  • Through knowledge of calibration & measurement systems
  • Ability to read and understand Blueprints and drawings.
  • Able to effectively multitask within a lean organization and willing to take on new tasks or challenges. 
  • Must be organized, flexible and adaptable to changing requests and requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills
