<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Here are just a few of the things you will get to do:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The primary responsibility of this position is to be the main point of contact with customers and to be the voice of the customer to the variety of internal departments transferring information in response to inquiries about products, services and issues.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">A secondary responsibility will be to be the back-up for logistics, packaging, shipping and receiving services to ensure we are meeting the customers’ requirements.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Confer with customers by telephone, fax or email to provide information about products and services, shipping dates or delays and to take, enter or update orders. Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries and comments, as well as actions taken. Support requests from sales team, as communicated via CRM, email or phone for customers.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Use tools within MDG and SAP to fully set up business partners for use within order system and ensure the use of global OTC processes.  Issue quotes on available products and process PO’s once received. Determine and communicate the appropriate components of product pricing as allowed. Understand and apply the correct order type. Compute price, discount and gather other data related to final invoice.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Issue purchase orders to business partners, including workbench extensions, in support of customer needs.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Confers with planning, quality control or logistics to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments. Receives customer material complaints, records basic complaint information and transmits it to the Quality Assurance and/or Technical Solutions Manager for investigation. Processes customer returns.

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">We are looking for people who are not just open to new ideas, but want to bring fresh thinking, energy and a creative perspective to their work. Some of the traits and qualifications the ideal candidate would possess include:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field and two years of experience in a customer service or inventory control role supporting a manufacturing environment is required.  Industry experience in automotive is a plus.  The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Must be proficient in ERP systems based on SAP. Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel is required. 
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a professional manner are required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Organizational skills, teamwork skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to solve problems are required. 
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Knowledge of ISO standards is helpful.
