The following challenges await you:

  • You will be responsible for advising the Group's companies and investments on all matters relating to acquisitions and divestments.
  • You will manage strategic projects and M&A processes throughout the Heraeus Group and will be responsible for their structuring and process planning.
  • As part of this role, you will organize and will be responsible for due diligence processes. You will also coordinate the work of our external advisors. 
  • Furthermore, you develop (on your own or together with external advisors) the financial evaluation of M&A targets and prepare an adequate overview of opportunities and risks resulting from M&A transactions. 
  • You will coordinate the professional input of other Group departments such as Legal, Tax, EHS, HR and Communications.


Your profile:

  • Successfully completed university degree in the field of economics, industrial engineering, business informatics or equivalent
  • Several years (min. 3-5 years) of experience in M&A as well as in strategy consulting, ideally in a major bank or a M&A-focused boutique
  • Know-how in the management of complex and strategic projects
  • Solution and results-oriented thinking
  • Excellent analytical and social skills as well as team strength and flexibility
