The following challenges await you:

  • Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions.
  • Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
  • Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process.
  • Managing the budget process.
  • Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes/Drive cost efficiencies.
  • Evaluating accounting and internal control systems.
  • Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
  • Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors
  • Provide necessary data for internal and external auditors and ensure Heraeus Medical USA meets all compliance requirements.
  • Work with and provide data to support Shared Service Center activities for financial, tax and payroll reporting.

 

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting in a manufacturing, R&D or Sales environment. 
  • The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. 
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, analysis, R&D, capital investments, cost accounting, working capital, cash management and other related areas. 
  • Experience creating and maintaining financial models.
  • Working knowledge of SAP (or equivalent ERP). Demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism, and leadership ability; exhibit a high level of motivation and initiative with the ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Travel requirements up to 10% of time.
