The following challenges await you:
Job Summary - Primary role is to provide product and sales education and training to the Heraeus Medical sales force and its principal agents. Secondarily, this role will provide educational support for surgeons, residents, OR staff, clinical and industry conferences.
•    Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of current and classic cementing concepts in orthopedics, the assigned product portfolio, and clinical procedures supported by Heraeus’ products
•    Articulate and demonstrate best practices and modern techniques of these concepts in order to optimize outcomes in joint replacement surgery
•    Actively participate in a team approach with the training and education of the Heraeus representative under the guidance of the Education Director
•    Teach traditional and modern concepts of total joint orthopedics and the application of all Heraeus PALACOS products from the assigned portfolio line
•    Assist in the development of learning materials and presentations, under the guidance of the Education Director, for the purpose of educating and training the Heraeus Medical US Sales Force
•    Review and understand clinical literature and internal resources that describe best clinical and administrative practices for orthopedic fixation and prosthetic joint infection management
•    Participate in clinical education, professional clinical conferences, and professional training programs
•    Respond to product questions submitted by the sales force and customers in the region
•    Assist the sales teams in developing busines strategies or presentation needs based on the unique circumstances of each prospect. Actively participate in product and mixing training with our 1099 agents as needed
 
Your Profile
•    Bachelor's Degree - the equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
•    Clinical experience gained either as an employee of a hospital or as a vendor
•    Experience in hospital education or hospital sales
•    Experience in orthopedic sales with experience in total joint arthroplasty a priority
•    Ability to travel 50-75%, expected to attend tradeshows, events and trainings
