We have an exciting opportunity in  Michigan for a Field Sales Manager -UV/IR Product.  This position  is responsible for sales of all UV Curing, Optical and Infrared products in their defined territory of responsibility.  They will collaborate with internal sales staff, engineers, administration, technical service, and other Heraeus Noblelight team members assigned to support the territory.   In addition the role is responsible for developing sales plans, bookings forecasts and expense budgets.

 

Your role and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Call on key accounts to grow revenue, develop new market areas, and ensure Heraeus’ achievement of customer satisfaction goals
  • Maintain regular contact with all chemistry (Formulators) and equipment (OEM) alliance partners and suppliers.
  • Organize and conduct demonstrations and trials at customer and business partner sites.
  • Participate in professional societies and industrial trade associations especially in the Automotive area to obtain information and develop contacts applicable to the advancement and deployment of UV and Infrared Process Technologies
  • Present papers and make group presentations on a frequent basis
  • Prepare 3-month booking forecasts by project as input to manufacturing production planning

 

What is Required for this Role:

 

  • BS degree is required, preferably in materials and chemical sciences, mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Capital equipment sales experience and contacts in the area of automotive Tier One and Tier Two suppliers is highly desirable    
  • Knowledge and experience with UV curing equipment, processes, and technologies and how they are used in the converting, printing, and industrial/Automotive industries highly desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience with Infrared drying/curing technology, processes, and technologies and how they are used in industrial and Automotive industries highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Computer skills – Ability to create customized presentations for customers/industry meetings.  Experienced with Microsoft Office and MicroSoft Dynamics CRM applications.
  • Experience in making technical presentations to scientific, technical and trade associations.
  • Able to travel up to 75% of the time via all forms of transportation.   Valid US driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. which is a requirement for moving demo equipment.
