We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Sales Manager -UV Environmental. This position is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market segments with the focus on further developing the existing and sales potentials in water and air treatment/disinfection market segments. Your objective is to increase sales of Heraeus products into the environmental markets. The role requires working with team members, including sales support, field sales, internal technical support, and sales management to identify and satisfy the customer’s requirements.


Your Role and Responsibilities:


  • Create new business through new account acquisition and increasing sales with existing customers.
  • Call on key accounts to grow revenue, develop new market areas, and ensure Heraeus’ achievement of customer satisfaction goals.
  • Collaborate with internal sales staff, engineers, administration, technical service, and other Heraeus personnel as necessary.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual quantitative and qualitative sales and order intake goals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quantitative and qualitative sales and order intake goals.
  • Provide feedback to Sales Management about competitor products, pricing, and activities.
  • Provide summary reporting of activity, comprehensive written documentation of identified opportunities via MS Office Applications and CRM system.
  • Participate in relevant trade shows, conferences, professional societies, and industrial trade associations, especially in the water and air disinfection market.


What is Required for this Role:


  • BS in an engineering or related technical area required
  • 5+ years experience in relevant market
  • Knowledge and experience with UV disinfection markets and equipment highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to create customized presentations for customers/industry meetings.
  • Experience with MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics CRM applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Valid US driver’s license.
  • Capable of accomplishing essential duties of the position with minimal direct guidance and management.
