The primary responsibility of this position is to focus on the external sales of base quartz materials in the North American territory. Responsibilities also include actively driving and managing the entire sales process (prospecting to shipments).  The position requires the candidate to work with domestic and international colleagues to maintain and develop business with current customer base and explore new market opportunities.  Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships, both internal and external, throughout the sales cycle.


We are looking for a self-starting individual who has the ability to work remotely if outside of the Phoenix, Arizona area.


Your Role and Responsibilities:


  • Actively contributes to new and existing account strategy definition and review. Manages sales to assigned customers in North America including: customer requirements, market definition and planning, program introduction, launch and fulfillment.
  • Generates customer specific business and marketing plans as well as program requirement documents in accordance with Company systems and standards.
  • Searching for new clients who will benefit from company products or services.
  • Travels to visit existing and potential customers; develops key presentations that strongly represent group’s program offering, future roadmap and Company selling strategies.
  • Performs pricing model analysis, product positioning, market and competitive analysis, and feature comparisons for all products.
  • Establishes target dates and coordinates internal activities to ensure that qualification approval will be obtained from the customer.
  • Partners with other business functions including Finance, Engineering, Production and Customer Service to develop and define the key elements of the optimum customer experience, leverage current processes and drive improvements, and identify critical success factors needed for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
  • Plans, organizes, and directs the activities required for the successful implementations and integration of customer product/projects within the organization.
  • Develops and prepares internal/external presentations, reports, and analytics to support the organizations’ communication network and strategy, both domestically and internationally.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets as defined by the Director of Sales.


What is required for this role:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business and 2 to 5 years’ experience required.
  • Experience in semiconductor and/or ultraviolet technology markets. The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Three years or more of sales experience in business to business selling.
  • Ability to provide engineering and/or technical support.
  • Ability to create and deliver effective presentations.
  • Experience with calling on all levels of an organization; from owner thru purchasing to shop floor.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • SAP experience a plus.
