Responsibilities
- Provides SAP support for engineering projects, changes, priorities and systems as guided by the R&D and Operations team.
- Identifies improvement opportunities and drives optimization of process flow, data and report accuracy, and ease of use in SAP in conjunction with the support of HSY, Business Systems Engineer and the SAP Core Team.
- Documents SAP improvements, in the form of work instructions, and supports others in learning SAP processes.
- Maintains SAP Master Data.
- Develops customized reports in SAP (data mining) to support the needs of the quality and engineering team, other functional groups at HMC, HMC site management, Portfolio management and R&D management.
- Provides support for the completion of Engineering Change Notifications (Development History, CCIDs, etc.), Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs), Document Change Requests (DCRs), and Deviations.
- Works with a positive attitude and acts within the principles of Medevio Ethics Statement and the Core Values. Adheres to the Heraeus Code of Conduct Policy.
- Other duties may be assigned as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Engineering field (Industrial or similar
- Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
- Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment a plus.
- Strong understanding of systems (interfaces between functional groups).
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing prints, including a working knowledge of GD&T.
- Solidworks and SAP experience a plus.
- Must be highly motivated to develop strong working relationships with multiple functional groups.
- Must be able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must be able to clearly document and communicate details consistently and accurately.
