This senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping and executing Heraeus Medevio's global internal communications strategy to foster an aligned, engaged, and high-performing organizational culture. The incumbent will be a trusted partner to Heraeus Medevio’s Leadership Team, driving and executing strategic communication efforts globally that elevate the company’s reputation, culture, and employee engagement across multiple touchpoints. This position will focus on supporting organizational transformation and change initiatives, and building a cohesive internal communications and events brand that resonates with employees. The role ensures that the company's strategies, decisions, intentions, and values are consistently represented in a compelling, inclusive, and impactful way, ensuring clear, transparent, and motivating communication across a range of media and at all levels and global locations of the organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in leading through influence, driving initiatives that have a significant and measurable impact on the business, and enjoy frequently switching between strategy creation, planning, and hands-on execution.

The Following Challenges Await You

  • Strategic Communication Leadership - Collaborate with the Global Leadership Team to define and implement communication strategies that align with the company’s mission, vision, and business objectives, and foster an engaging organizational culture.
  • Influence and Execution - Lead the creation, refinement, and execution of internal communications across all global locations and media (email, presentations, video, etc.), ensuring all messaging is clear, consistent, and drives alignment with corporate goals. Collaborate with Marketing team to bring Medevio Employee Brand to life on external and internal platforms.
  • Event Strategy and Execution - Develop strategic plans, plan for, and execute high-impact global internal events that reinforce company culture and employee engagement, including: Global Town Halls, Site All-Hands Meetings, and Annual Management Meetings; Recognition and Awards Ceremonies, including Global and Regional celebrations; Quality Days and other milestone events
  • Internal Communications as a Change Agent - Drive internal communications efforts to effectively manage organizational change, transformation initiatives, and crisis management, ensuring timely and transparent messaging that minimizes disruption and enhances clarity at all levels.
  • Employee Engagement - Partner with HR, Function and Site Leaders globally to develop and execute communication programs that drive employee engagement, with a focus on building Heraeus Medevio’s reputation as a top employer and enhancing overall employee satisfaction.
  • Data-Driven Communication - Establish and track KPIs and feedback loops to continuously improve the internal communications strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and employee needs. Report key metrics to leadership and adjust strategies as necessary to maximize impact.
  • Global Employee Advocacy - Create and nurture programs that inspire employees globally to take pride in the organization and act as brand advocates, further embedding Heraeus Medevio’s values and culture into day-to-day operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Foster collaboration across departments, global locations, and teams to create opportunities for connection, knowledge sharing, and surprise-and-delight moments that contribute to a positive, engaging work environment.
  • Budget and Resource Management - Lead the management of communication and event-specific budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while maintaining a high standard of quality and impact.
  • Leadership - Lead and develop internal communications team.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Internal Communications, Public Relations, Employee Engagement, or related field required.
  • A minimum of 10 years in corporate communications, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role with global responsibility. Experience in leading large-scale global communications initiatives and events is a must; experience in having lived and worked in cultural settings outside of the US is a plus. 
  • Medtech manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels, with a track record of driving strategic initiatives.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling capabilities and proficiency in creating clear, engaging content across multiple channels, including oral, written, and visual communications.
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing both strategic and tactical aspects of complex initiatives. Demonstrates flexibility in approach, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel (domestic and occasional international travel required, approximately 5%–10%).

Medevio is committed to providing competitive total compensation and benefits packages. The expected hiring range for this position is between $155,000 and $190,000 based upon a full-time schedule. This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity. This position is bonus eligible. Our total compensation package includes eligibility for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, education reimbursement, paid parental leave and paid time off.
