This role works a 3x12 shift (3-days a week, 12-hours/day and is eligible to receive pay for 40/hours per week).  The scheduled shift for this role is Friday - Sunday, 6:00AM - 6:00PM.

As a Senior Facilities Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our facility's systems, ensuring the reliable operation of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and the overall infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and process systems such as HVAC, cleanroom, exhaust, deionized water, and chemical delivery systems.
  • Manage and oversee the performance of routine preventive maintenance on all facility equipment to ensure optimal functioning of manufacturing systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and EHS teams to ensure that all facility systems comply with safety and operational standards.
  • Supervise contractors and vendors performing installations, repairs, and maintenance on specialized systems and equipment.
  • Lead or assist in facility improvement projects, including equipment upgrades, infrastructure expansions, and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Monitor critical systems including air handling units, chilled water systems, and ultra-pure water systems, ensuring 24/7 operational integrity.
  • Perform routine inspections of cleanroom environments and critical equipment, making immediate corrections or repairs when necessary.
  • Provide rapid response and troubleshooting support for facility-related issues to minimize downtime in production processes.
  • Maintain detailed records of equipment performance, repairs, and maintenance activities, using CMMS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as adherence to internal protocols and industry standards.

Your Profile:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical Certification or associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Management is preferred.
  • 7-10 years of facilities maintenance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • In-depth experience with cleanroom environments and HVAC systems.
  • Familiarity with process systems such as deionized water, gas delivery, and exhaust systems.
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking maintenance and repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Basic PLC programming and automation knowledge preferred.
  • EPA 608 certification and familiarity with local and federal safety regulations (OSHA) are preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in a team, effective communication, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
