The following challenges await you:
As Director HR Europe you develop and implement the regional HR strategy and roadmap to support business and global HR strategy and priorities as well as short- and long-term KPIs. Key strategic HR themes include:

  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging: ensure site and regional roadmaps, targets, and strategies are in place
  • Talent and Succession: active support of and knowledge of talent in the European region 
  • HR Systems, Processes and Data: Lead projects to standardize, integrate and/or harmonize select processes, lead regional or global projects to improve the efficiencies and/or effectiveness of HR systems and processes and drive continuous HR process improvement
  • Organizational Development, Design & Effectiveness: Provide guidance to supported leaders on organizational structure, leadership and culture to achieve the business strategy, support key global cultural goals e.g., sustainable implementation of Medevio leadership competencies, execution culture, reduction of complexity, and living Medevio’s values

Furthermore, you provide leadership and opportunities for growth and development to the HR Leaders and teams supporting our four European Medevio sites:

  • Support and develop European HR leaders to maintain a high performing, highly engaged team
  • Prioritize and manage workload between team members to ensure business needs are met without losing sight of implementing longer term, high value HR strategies
  • Work with team members and business leaders to continue to evolve our “one team” culture and create alignment of HR processes and policies across sites as appropriate
  • Support the development of HR and site budgets 

In addition, you lead global and/or regional Medevio HR projects as assigned or necessitated by changing HR priorities and/or legislative landscape (e.g., regarding sustainability, data protection and privacy, compensation practices).

Your Profile:

  • You successfully completed your business studies with a focus on Human Resources and gained 7+ years of experience in Human Resources and 5 years in a management level position.
  • You gained solid project management skills and already led global HR projects successfully 
  • Your business English is fluent (written and verbal)
  • You use your strong communication, influencing and presentation skills in dealing with executives and other key stakeholders
  • Preferably, you have a strong knowledge of German labor law and significant experience in dealing with works councils, collective agreements and negotiations
  • Your “home base” in Hanau and flexibility to travel to Medevio’s other European sites in Dresden, Hradec Králové, and Yverdon as required rounds off your profile.
