Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Job Summary - As a Machine Technician, you will: ◦Set up, adjust, regulate and operate a wide variety of very unique electro-mechanical automated manufacturing machinery.
  • Recognize, troubleshoot, and analyze problems, and fix faults and disruptions as quickly as possible on all machine components including but not limited to:  Robotic and camera controls, laser welders, liquid dispensers, transport systems and bowl feeders.
  • Take complete ownership of your assigned machines and collaborate with machine operators, other machine technicians and maintenance mechanics to troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure the machine's smooth and continuous operation.
  • Perform and apply clearly-described preventive maintenance activities.
  • Call upon your mechanical, pneumatics, robotics, electrical, and machine operation/troubleshooting/preventive maintenance proficiencies.
  • Coordinate activities of a small team of machine operators their daily work and train new operators.

What is Required for this Role

  • 2-Year Degree in Automation Systems Technology, Industrial Automation, Industrial Maintenance or equivalent and 2 years of experience with automated production machinery.
  • Proven electro-mechanical skills and experience.
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of electricity, robotics, and PLC controls.
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of mechanics and pneumatics.
  • Machine proficiency - can optimize preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, analyze faults, and employ diagnostic techniques.
  • Experience working in an international setting.
  • Skilled in 5S and other lean manufacturing principles.
