What You'll Do

Job Summary:  As Shipping/Receiving-Warehouse Associate, you will drive the process to ship and receive materials to and from the plant, including the off-site warehouse. Also responsible for the storage, rotation, and inventory of goods. Will be involved in maintaining accurate physical inventory.

• Check goods received to purchase orders or receiving slips.
• Enter receipts into ERP software accurately and within tight deadlines.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Check and rotate finished goods stock to keep stocks fresh.
• Route or deliver materials to storage or manufacturing locations as needed.
• Complete and adhere to training on industrial machinery: sit-down, fork truck, clamp truck, turret truck, scissor lift.
• Serve as a backup to all other Shipping/Receiving-Warehouse Associates.
• Palletize products as needed, stack empty used skids.  Wrap pallets, empty spools and scrap pallets.

What is required for this role

• Previous experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving, and inventory operations in a manufacturing environment.  Previous forklift experience.
• Previous experience and knowledge with trucking operations.
• Knowledge of international shipping/trade laws and requirements and previous experience performing foreign import and export responsibilities.
• SAP or other ERP software experience.  Computer literate in basic application software systems (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to operate a stretch wrap machine.
• Able to read, write, communicate, and process all written and verbal instructions in English.
• Good physical stamina, dexterity, and vision. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.  Able to process simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Must successfully have acceptable motor vehicle driving recordpass a pre-placement physical exam, background check and drug screen.
