MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Work with cross-functional leadership and customers to create an aligned the overall project plan.  Manage and direct project activities needed to achieve project objectives, with a strong understanding of project, resources, and timing necessary to meet competing project schedules. 
  2. Keep under control the project(s) through the proactive communication including timelines, budget and cost, resources and others to align the status of the project with stakeholders. 
  3. Create and communicate the status of the projects in anticipate way to mitigate risk whit the cross functional teams and customers.  
  4. Evaluate and mitigate project budget variation to ensure correct budget execution. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or superior) in an Engineering discipline or related technical field.  
  • Expert level knowledge and application of process development and project management principles 
  • Great communication skills with a high emotional intelligence 
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with a diverse group of project stakeholders including customers, executives, peers, managers, and subject matter experts  
  • Proven competence in completing projects according to established scope, budget, and timelines 
  • An established history of leading teams and cross-functional relationships  
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Knowledge of business and management principles and new product development process 
  • Anticipate, assess, and mitigate project risks  
  • Fluent in spoken and written business English and Spanish. 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience required, including previous experience in the medical device industry 
  • Medical catheter project management experience 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred 
  • Master’s degree in project management, or equivalent
