Value Stream Manager

RESPONSIBILITES
1. Ensure the production value stream to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and ensure the highest quality standards, meeting customer demands and supporting the company's strategic goals through the implementation of Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Accomplish the annual and monthly production budget controlling the main indicators of the business (OEE, OTD, Efficiency, variances, absorption, scrap) in quality and safety environment.
3. Manage overall manufacturing processes, products, and standards for the business lines under their responsibility to get the results and KPIs according to the budget, quality standards and EHS regulations.
4. Align with other areas the resources and internal services from customer services, warehouse, logistic and planning to accomplish the agreement with the customers.
5. Implementing and monitoring strategies, policies and productions plans to drive results through the organization.
6. Drive Continues Improvement activities for the manufacturing process with controls, process improvements and projects, during and after product introduction and transfer to get the results according to the budget
7. Develop team and deploy technical knowledge to enable the production lines to operate at the level of operational manufacturing excellent.
8. Keep an adequate organizational environment to promote the values and Culture of HMCR.
9. Ensure the resources for the training area to bring the corresponding training to the employees according to the customer requirements
10. Ensure the continuous improvement of energy performance and the implementation of the energy management system in all processes to mitigate the carbon footprint according to sustainability and EHS regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Engineering, finance, business administration
• Master’s degree (MS)
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques to maximize the efficiency of the manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Proficient in using SAP/ desirable
• Excellent bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and writing communication skills.
• Advanced computer proficiency
• Deep understanding of Manufacturing processes, variances and absorption.
• Proven experience monitoring Production plans and adjusting to changes.
• Able to operate and thrive under high levels of volume, change and uncertainty.
• Highly developed leadership competencies
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing companies.
• Minimum 3 year in manager position
• Proven experience supervising Engineering Level Professionals.
• Leading opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Experience managing budgets, expenses, CAPEX and inventory needs.
