Position Summary
In this position, the Program Manager will lead cross-functional development teams within the electrophysiology business to complete all tasks necessary to effectively plan, execute, control, and complete projects and/or programs. The Program Manager will also support new project planning to secure future business.
Your role and responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional teams and engage with customers for complex programs/projects (e.g. active electrical catheters or sub-assemblies for design, contract manufacturing or transfer projects)
Support new project planning to secure future business
Collaborate with team and customer to create aligned plans and schedules
Manage, direct, and delegate project activities needed to achieve project objectives, with a strong understanding of resources, skills, and timing necessary to meet competing project schedules
Anticipate, assess, and mitigate project risks and provide visibility to cross-functional leadership and customers clearly and concisely
Establish strong ownership of all project reporting/communication and governance requirements, internally and externally, at peer and executive levels (e.g. project status, resource planning, KPIs)
Establish strong ownership of the full project life cycle, driving successful results through leadership from initiation to deployment of the project
Effectively communicate complex information with varying levels of collaborators, including customers and stakeholders
Develop and improve project management tools, systems, and processes alongside project managers and cross-functional teams
Partner with Finance and Portfolio Management to develop business cases and ROI for projects and capital expenditures
Coach and mentor less experienced team members (as applicable)
Support other duties as assigned
What is required for this role:
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
PMP or PgMP certification desirable
Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience required
Demonstrated mastery of project management tools, processes, and best practices using multiple project management methodologies
Strong understanding of organizational relationships, dependencies, and escalation paths
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Established ability to positively motivate and influence others to build strong teams
Extensive experience driving risk management activities to identify, assess, control, and learn from project risks
Expert level understanding and application of finance fundamentals as related to programs/projects
Demonstrated mastery of conflict resolution
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proven history of driving and managing change successfully
Must be willing to travel up to 25%, mainly between Minnesota and Costa Rica
Medevio is committed to providing competitive total compensation and benefits packages. The expected base salary hiring range for this position is between $120,000.00 and $150,000.00, based upon a full-time schedule. This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity. This position is bonus eligible, with a target bonus of 15% of base salary depending upon company and individual performance. Our total compensation package also includes eligibility for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, education reimbursement, paid parental leave and paid time off.
