Heraeus is looking for a high-impact Senior Trader to join our New York trading team. If you thrive in fast-paced markets, excel at managing risk, and bring deep expertise in precious metals trading, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact on a global scale.
What you’ll do:
- Execute strategic buy/sell trades to optimize pricing and profitability
- Manage precious metals inventory, risk, and financing
- Develop and implement hedging and trading strategies
- Monitor global markets, trends, and pricing dynamics in real time
- Identify new trading opportunities and supply channels
- Build strong relationships with clients and trading partners
- Share market insights and collaborate across the trading team
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- 10+ years of commodities trading experience
- Direct experience with precious metals trading (required)
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills under pressure
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (SAP a plus)
