Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will drive strategic decision making by conducting financial analysis and reporting to drive short-term results and long-term growth for Heraeus Medevio at our White Bear Lake, MN manufacturing location.  In addition to supporting critical month-end closing and reporting duties in a timely and accurate manner, this unique opportunity allows the individual to collaborate with key business partners to support monthly forecasts and annual budget cycles with focus on Revenue, Operating Expenses, and Capital Expenditures.   The Senior Financial Analyst will also assist in defining, implementing and monitoring financial and operational KPI’s to align operational goals with financial performance.  

What You’ll Do Every Day:

  • Support financial reporting and analysis with focus on accuracy, clarity and relevance
  • Monitor actual versus target cost center spending while highlighting trends and cost saving opportunities
  • Develop and refine financial models to support site forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Present financial results and insights to finance and non-finance business partners
  • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to site leadership
  • Support month-end close (accruals, reconciliations, variance reporting, etc.)
  • Support Capital Expenditure planning, forecasting and reporting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement finance initiatives including system and reporting enhancements
  • Perform other ad-hoc financial duties and project work as assigned
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Highly motivated to make data driven decisions to support organizational goals and objectives
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and Office.   Working knowledge of ERP (SAP preferred) and BI systems    
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Self-starter willing to work proactively and independently to resolve issues

Medevio is committed to providing competitive total compensation and benefits packages. The expected hiring range for this position is between $85,000 and $105,000 based upon a full-time schedule. This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity. This position is bonus eligible, with a target bonus of 10%. Our total compensation package includes eligibility for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, education reimbursement, paid parental leave and paid time off.
