Primarly responsible for actively driving and managing the entire sales process (prospecting to shipments) by researching, evaluating, developing and managing the technological and commercial aspects of the precious metal electrical contact market. Responsible for identifying and communicating technical and commercial issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process including fulfillment.

Your Role and Reponsiblities: 

  • Client Acquisition & Engagement: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
  • Sales Growth & Forecasting: Achieve revenue targets, maintain price accuracy, and provide precise sales forecasts.
  • Strategy & Market Development: Define development strategies in assigned market segments, manage customer programs, and refine market and account strategies to drive market expansion.
  • Customer Needs & Solutions: Understand client requirements, provide tailored solutions, and exceed expectations.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Track opportunities via MS Dynamics CRM, ensuring both qualitative and quantitative pipeline growth.
  • Product & Market Analysis: Support product management with pricing, positioning, and competitive analysis.
  • Negotiation & Agreements: Secure customer agreements and drive promotional efforts aligned with corporate goals.
  • Industry Engagement: Attend trade shows, conferences, and training courses to generate new leads and stay updated on market trends and competitor strategies.
  • Market Research & Intelligence: Conduct research, analyze competitors, and report insights to inform business decisions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—including Finance, Product Management, Engineering, Innovation, and Customer Service—to optimize customer experience and business efficiency.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee customer product implementations, ensuring seamless integration and timely market entry.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare presentations, reports, and analytics to support organizational strategy.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Adhere to corporate standards, including procurement, anti-bribery, and anti-money laundering guidelines.
  • Travel & Customer Interaction: Maintain close contact with key personnel through face-to-face meetings, calls, and emails.

What is required for this role:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 5 or more years of technical sales experience required.

·Precious metal industry experience required; understanding of medical and defense markets preferred.

·Ability to provide engineering and/or technical support. Intermediate level proficiency is required in standard office software such as spreadsheet, word processor, relational database, CRM and presentations.

·Proven analytical, presentation and communication skills and the ability to identify customer needs and communicate them to constituents. Candidate must have strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
