Heraeus Quartz North America is seeking a driven and strategic Sales Manager to join our team in Buford, GA and lead specialty fiber sales across the U.S. market. This role is responsible for managing existing customer relationships, acquiring new business, and gathering key insights into market and technological developments. You will support the global Sales Manager in executing strategic and marketing initiatives while promoting a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is positive, proactive, and skilled at building strong customer partnerships that drive longterm success.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Drive regional sales growth by achieving revenue and profitability targets and developing longterm account strategies.
  • Manage customer relationships endtoend, including technical support, site visits, issue resolution, and alignment on product specifications.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and identify new market opportunities.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure compliance with internal policies and U.S. regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, product management, and global teams to optimize product offerings and support customer needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Gather and share market intelligence to support strategic planning and product development.
  • Uphold and promote the company’s Code of Conduct and foster crossfunctional collaboration

What is Required for this Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience with increasing level of responsibility.
  • Technical knowledge of material science, optics and/or fiber optics is preferred.
  • Ability to sell customer on technical, value, and lifecycle advantages of a highly technical product.
  • Proficient Microsoft office suite and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism and leadership ability; exhibit a high level of motivation and initiative with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across various disciplines.
