RESPONSIBILITIES
1.    Create project and technical execution plans and deliverables with the project team to support new project through piece part quotes, development program proposals and project schedules 
2.    Lead and execute design and development project-related activities within the internal team ensuring the resources are allocated efficiently to meet project goals. Monitor project budgets and control costs
3.    Lead customer interaction on project and technical deliverables comfortably and confidently communicating complex information concisely and clearly to all levels internal and external
4.    Identify potential project and design risks and develop mitigation strategies facilitating and making technical decisions on projects (i.e. vendor selection, critical to quality on the design, concept selection, etc.)
5.    Lead activities for concept generation with strong technical problem-solving skills mooting and managing risks throughout the project
6.    Keep an adequate organizational environment to promote the values and Culture of Medevio Assuming other responsivities
7.    Lead and monitor documentation practices for requirements, design output, design verification, and testing using Heraeus and/or customer's QMS
8.    Mentor engineers on the team to conduct engineering analysis on designs, concepts, and the associated research

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required, master's degree in Engineering or related technical field helpful. Master degree desirablr.
Well established knowledge of multiple engineering functional areas (i.e. product development, test, modeling, process, etc.)
Independently applies knowledge of the methodology for process/design selection
Able to communicate complex technical concepts to broad audiences in Spanish and English (B2+ o C1)
Consistently demonstrates creativity in applying engineering principles to solve complex problems
Able to make data driven decisions utilizing statistical tools such as DOE, tolerance stack-up analysis, or Minitab
Strong independent problem-solving skills and actively works to coach others in this area. Proficient with new technology development 
Capable of creating a plan to solve complex technical problems and lead others to resolution
Actively, informally or formally coaches and mentors less experienced engineers. Desire and experience in managing a small team is preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience required
At least 3 years of leading teams
Medical device development experience required, preferably including guidewire development experience
Project management skills and experience, PM certification required
