The following challenges await you:

  • In this role, you contribute to the development and operationalization of the company’s Responsible AI strategy, policies, and governance frameworks, ensuring trustworthy, ethical, and compliant AI deployment.
  • You support the alignment of regional regulatory requirements and market-specific expectations across relevant jurisdictions.
  • You help establish and maintain structures for AI risk classification, decision-making, and review processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements such as the EU AI Act and relevant industry standards.
  • In addition, you contribute to the preparation and facilitation of discussions on AI risk appetite, supporting alignment on risk boundaries and trade-offs between innovation, speed, and compliance.
  • As part of the AI Office, you collaborate closely with data science, engineering, product, legal, compliance, and risk functions, fostering alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders. You support cross-functional collaboration and help ensure Responsible AI principles are consistently applied across AI initiatives.
  • By translating Responsible AI principles into actionable steps, you support the development of tools, playbooks, and minimum viable compliance packs that enable a scalable “shift-left” approach, embedding Responsible AI early in development processes.
  • You contribute to the design and implementation of standardized AI risk and impact assessment frameworks and support the integration of Responsible AI across the AI lifecycle—from use case intake and design through development, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Through proactive identification and management of ethical, societal, and operational AI risks, you help strengthen organizational resilience and trust in AI systems. You support the implementation of controls and monitoring mechanisms addressing fairness, transparency, robustness, and bias, and contribute to internal and external audits and reviews.
  • You support the development and delivery of training and awareness initiatives to build organizational capabilities in Responsible AI.
  • By monitoring regulatory and industry developments, you contribute to their translation into internal practices. You may also support participation in external forums and working groups.

Your Profile:

  • Relevant academic degree in technology, data science, ethics, public policy, business, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in AI, data, risk, governance, or adjacent domains (experience in consulting, strategy, or transformation roles is a plus)
  • Good understanding of AI/ML concepts and the AI lifecycle (no hands-on development required)
  • Initial experience in Responsible AI, AI governance, risk management, or digital ethics
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act and GDPR intersections is an advantage
  • Ability to translate abstract principles into structured and actionable processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on implementation
  • Interest in ethical technology, Responsible AI, and trustworthy innovation

What we offer:

  • Strong salary package - attractive base salary plus bonus and support for private pension plan
  • Modern working time arrangements - time sovereignty without time recording, focus on results-oriented work
  • Regular time off - 30 days annual leave plus up to 6 additional days off (company closures on bridge days and between years), special leave for special occasions, life phase account for paid time off (e.g. sabbatical, earlier retirement)
  • Additional benefits - subsidized public transport, discounts in many (online) stores, company medical service with comprehensive preventive medical check-ups, sports facilities and employee canteen with freshly prepared meals every day
  • Sustainability and social commitment - sustainability as part of the corporate strategy and targeted support for initiatives in the areas of education, family and science through our own foundations
