The following challenges await you:

  • Plans and carries out lab work to further development of novel inkjet inks for electronic applications and processes in line with agreed business strategy
  • Analyse physical and chemical properties of inks
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimize ink-substrate interactions
  • Ensures all assigned work and recording and reporting of data is delivered in a timely manner, and all associated requirements, objectives and targets are fully met
  • Establishes the root cause of problems and proposes solutions
  • Devises and maintains laboratory equipment, operating and planning systems to provide timely delivery of projects
  • Ensures high laboratory standards with respect to health, safety, environment, and quality in all activities
  • Completes tasks effectively to aid cooperation both internally and externally
  • Provides experimental support to prepare samples for customers and investigate customer issues with development products
  • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Contributes to health, safety, environmental and continuous improvement activities


Your Profile:

  • Strong background in material or polymer chemistry.-> I am specifically looking for candidates with experience in materials or polymer chemistry, as this is more relevant to ink development. Experience in analytical or inorganic chemistry, while valuable, is not the primary focus for this role
  • Practical experience performing formulation experiments in a laboratory setting
  • Excellent data management and analytical skills, including recording, storing, and interpreting experimental results
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong communications skills: English proficiency is essential as the role requires liaising with colleagues worldwide
  • PhD not required, relevant experience and practical expertise are highly valued
  • Key responsibilities: Conducting formulation experiments and supporting laboratory research
  • Organising and managing the supply chain of inks to customer sites
  • Coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and information
