JOB PURPOSE

Execute manufacturing engineering actions, projects and investigations assuring the sustaining of production lines according to quality compliance regulations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Execute of priorities and projects according to manufacturing production needs.
  2. Communicate and get support from different areas assuring that production running without interruptions and products and processes improvements are alignment with standards and quality system.
  3. Implement engineering tools (Six Sigma DMAIC, DOE’s, Lean) to assure the problem solving, decision making and continuous improvement.
  4. Perform the documentation and records, after production release assuring the manufacturing and quality regulations
  5. Perform the validation process of the projects to accomplish whit the quality regulation for products and processes
  6. Assures that production lines output meets the specifications of the product to have clear criteria of conforming/ non-conforming product, and the test methods used for verifying conformance.
  7. Provide information during audits to demonstrate the compliance of quality regulations.

EDUCATION

  • Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or related

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Validation manufacturing process experience
  • Critical Thinking/Analytical Skills
  • Excellent bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and writing
  • Normative ISO13485 Knowledge
  • Lean and six sigma knowledge
  • Knowledge in CAPEX, Budget control and COGS
  • Software: AutoCad & Solidworks
  • Promote continuous improvement.
  • Processes and root cause problem solving methodologies
  • Attention to details

EXPERIENCE              

  • 0-3 years in similar positions
  • Transfer Process Projects implementation.
  • Continuous Improvement Projects implementation
