Job Purpose:
Act as a strategic partner to business leaders by leading and executing end-to-end recruitment strategies that ensure the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent. Provide market insights, talent sourcing, workforce planning support, and talent advisory expertise to align hiring decisions with business objectives and growth plans.
Major Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, recruitment strategies, and selection criteria aligned to business needs.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation, ensuring best talent acquisition practices.
- Provide labor market insights, benchmarking, and recruitment analytics to influence hiring decisions and workforce planning.
- Drive employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives through social media, events, and partnerships with institutions.
- Ensure all recruitment processes comply with labor laws, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Oversee pre-onboarding and onboarding activities, ensuring a positive candidate experience and smooth transition into the organization.
- Maintain and continuously update job descriptions in alignment with organizational structures and roles.
- Provide guidance to HR colleagues and managers on recruitment best practices, diversity, and inclusive hiring.
- Foster strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (universities, recruitment partners, agencies and suppliers).
- Actively participates in the design and execution of HR programs and resources including but not limited to onboarding, performance management, employee relations, engagement, recognition and social activities, Learning and development, culture and retention.
- Assist in addressing day to day employee inquires and concerns ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies, procedures and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or similar.
- +5 years in similar positions.
- End-to-end recruitment process.
- Experience in manufacturing industry.
- Fluent in spoken and written business English.
- MS Office suite proficiency.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Knowledge of labor law in Costa Rica.
- Strong sourcing and negotiation skills.
- Assertive communication and influencing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (MS).
- Experience with HR systems (Success Factors, Legadmi, Kronos, Concur).
- Experience in medical devices Industry.
