Are you a strategic HR leader ready to shape culture, drive organizational effectiveness, and support business growth across multiple North American sites? We’re seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team and partner closely with leadership to strengthen our people strategy, talent pipeline, and workplace culture.

As the North America HRBP, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, guide workforce and organizational decisions, and drive consistency in HR programs across our locations. This role plays a critical part in connecting global HR strategy with local operational needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and cultural development.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast future talent needs and build development plans to support growth.
  • Lead and support change management initiatives, including reorganizations and structural transitions.
  • Drive comprehensive talent strategies—attraction, selection, onboarding, retention, development, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Deliver and facilitate leadership development programs, including People Days, Internship Programs, and Essentials of Leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with global and regional HR partners to implement aligned tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide insights using HR analytics and workforce trends to influence business decisions.
  • Foster employee engagement, resolve issues proactively, and support culture initiatives.
  • Monitor employee engagement and implement strategies to improve retention.

HR Management

  • Lead workforce planning and oversee temporary staffing partners.
  • Manage compensation programs, including market benchmarking and incentive alignment.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop members of the local HR team.
  • Ensure regional and global HR processes are implemented consistently and continuously improved.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations matters; recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Develop job descriptions and support company-wide job analysis and benchmarking initiatives.
  • Deliver HR policy training and support HR-related education for managers and employees.
  • Represent the region in global HR forums to support alignment and standardization.
  • Contribute to global HR strategy development and lead cross-site projects.
  • Participate as a key member of the regional HR team on initiatives involving training, staffing, benefits, and policy development.
  • Uphold and reinforce the Company’s Code of Conduct.

Supervisory Responsibilites:

  • Lead HR team members in Santa Fe Springs and Wartburg, TN, including selection, development, performance management, and workload planning.
  • Ensure HR operations meet business needs and comply with policies and regulations.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing within a global organization strongly preferred.
  • Chemical processing environment experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of ADA, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, OSHA, and other employment laws.
