The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for executing and maintaining all core HR administrative processes that support the full employee lifecycle for both hourly and salaried staff. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of new hires, employee movements, terminations, and other workforce actions that directly impact payroll and compliance requirements. The position oversees the proper use and data integrity of HR systems, including myHR, timekeeping systems, and payroll-related platforms. Additionally, the Specialist supports compensation processes, HR reporting, KPIs, budgeting activities. The position leads and provides consultancy and guidance in employee relations owning investigations and working with managers, Legal, MTSS, and other external authorities.

⚪Manage and maintain employee information across MyHR, Payroll, and Timekeeper systems to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely support for HR and decision making. ⚪Audit the documentation for new employees (personal files, contacts, labor references, medical test and forms) to be aligned with talent acquisition policy.
⚪Process and maintain all employee lifecycle actions including new hires, transfers, promotions, contract changes, and terminations. Ensure all HR transactions are accurately entered and approved in myHR and downstream systems.
⚪Manage timekeeping system data integrity, including schedule updates, corrections, approvals, and exception handling.
⚪Coordinate with Payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee data impacting pay.
⚪Maintain personnel records in compliance with company policies, audits, and local labor regulations.
⚪Execute compensation-related and benefits tasks such as updates to salary structures, incentive payments, and job classification validations.
⚪Support annual compensation processes, including merit, bonus, and internal equity reviews. Provide internal and external data to evaluate market.
⚪Manage and control employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate administration, compliance with company policies, and timely delivery.
⚪Address consequence management process ensuring that disciplinary actions are aligned with the internal policies and labor law in consistence with relationship environment and company culture.
⚪Perform random doping test to the employees to ensure the accomplishment that drugs and alcohol policy.
⚪Provide employee experience services by addressing a variety of inquiries based on individual needs, ensuring accurate information and timely support. Perform additional responsibilities beyond current roles to support business needs.

Required Qualifications:

⚪Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human recourses, Psychology or related field.
⚪MS Office suite.
⚪Fluent in spoken and written business English.
⚪Knowledge of labor law in Costa Rica.
⚪Knowledge of payroll management.
⚪Knowledge of quotes, requisitions, and purchase orders.
