What you can achieve:

  • Support. Improve. Innovate. This is what you will do in our international sales team, where your focus will be on providing technical support to our customers in the iron and steel foundry industry.
  • You will work directly with customers on-site to develop solutions regarding thermal analysis, process optimization, melt treatment, and magnesium/inoculation treatments.
  • You will oversee all phases of customer projects, ranging from defining requirements and conducting trials to commissioning equipment (e.g., wire treatment systems).
  • To ensure optimal results, you will analyze metallurgical issues at customer sites.
  • Finally, you will prepare technical presentations and conduct both internal and external training sessions and workshops.

What you bring to the role:

  • A degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Foundry Technology, Ferrous Metallurgy, or a related field.
  • Solid knowledge of thermal analysis, cast iron metallurgy, melt treatment, process control, and quality assurance.
  • Experience with grey iron, ductile iron (SGI), CGI, and/or cast steel is highly desirable.
  • Strong metallurgical understanding combined with analytical thinking skills.
  • A high willingness to travel: 60–80% of the time (domestic, across Europe, and occasionally worldwide).
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
  • An independent, goal-oriented, responsible, and structured approach to work, combined with strong communication skills within an international team.
